Should magnesium be consumed by kidney patients?

#Magnesium is an important mineral found in our body that strengthens our bones therefore, one should include this mineral in our diet. The kidney plays an important role in magnesium homeostasis, but the #renal handles this mineral in a highly adaptable manner which reduces when renal functionality deteriorates significantly. This means magnesium is needed by the body, but it cannot work to reduce the #chronic stages of CKD when disease increases rapidly.

In #CKD, an increase in the excretion of magnesium can reimburse for the loss of #glomerular filtration rate and maintain the apt levels of serum magnesium. The low level of serum magnesium and lower dietary magnesium can also increase the risk of end-stage #renal_disease among the patients.

However, in more advanced CKD when your creatinine drops by less than 30mL/min this mineral
unmistakably develops hypermagnesaemia frequently in patients with creatinine dropping to 10mL/min.

The benefits of magnesium do not end here for kidney patients as this mineral can largely help in the
elimination of #kidney stones from the body. That means if you add magnesium in your diet, you can
reduce the risk of kidney stones. Taking magnesium citrate with vitamin B on a daily basis can reduce
the chronic pain you suffer from a kidney_stone. During the digestion, magnesium helps bind up oxalate and prevents it from increasing up in the body. While it removes oxalate crystals during urine excretion.

Studies have demonstrated that deficiency of magnesium can lead to hypertension, insulin resistance,
and is associated with cardiovascular risks. A rise in the low consumption of magnesium can
progressively lead you to #CKD.

So, if you want to reduce the severity of CKD, consuming magnesium foods, for instance, avocado,
broccoli, raw cocoa, beans, bananas, and pulses can really help you! Further, it is suggested that magnesium consumption should be governed by the dietician based on individual reports and conditions.

#Karma_Ayurveda has helped more than 35000 patients suffering from the complications of kidney
disease with its #ayurvedic_treatment. The diet plan, lifestyle changes suggestion and ayurvedic
medicines by Dr. Puneet Dhawan can help you know everything about your #kidney_problem. If you want to end your kidney problems in a natural way then head to Karma Ayurveda!

Causes of Kidney disease

Having knowledge about the causes of kidney disease can help you get the right treatment and feel your best.  Here we have discussed certain major causes of kidney disease that can help prevent you from a kidney failure condition:

1.       Diabetes: Diabetes is one of the causes of kidney disease. Our lifestyle and dietary habits play an important role in maintaining the health of our kidneys. What we eat each day can affect the blood sugar level in the body and thereby our kidney. When diabetes is controlled by #ayurvedic treatment, the associated kidney #disease can often be slowed down.

2.       High blood pressure: A raised level of blood pressure can severely affect your heart and kidney health. Over time, high blood pressure can cause blood vessels around the kidneys to weaken. These damaged vessels are not able to deliver enough blood to the kidney tissues making you prone to end-stage renal disease.

3.       Excess consumption of antibiotics: Taking too much of painkillers can alleviate your kidney problems and can adversely lift your blood pressure. This is why you should not take antibiotics without prescriptions from your doctor if you are already a kidney patient.

4.       #Obesity: Putting on weight can affect the functioning of your kidney. A healthy diet together with some weight loss exercise can help relieves stress from your life, also eliminating the risk of heart failure and kidney failure.

5.       Smoking: Cutting smoking habit from your life can prevent your life from choking out. Your #kidney gets critically impacted when you smoke cigars or consume nicotine. Smoking slows down the blood flow to the important organs like the heart, kidney, and lungs.

6.       Holding pee for a long time: Most of the people have the tendency to control their pee for a long time which can be dangerous for them. Stored urine in the bladders if not flushed out can backflow to your kidneys. As you know urine is a kind of toxin which can harm your kidney.

7.        Not drinking enough of the water: To let your kidney function properly, it is necessary to drink 8-10 glasses of water each day. When you consume less water, toxins in your kidney do not get flushed out properly and remain in the kidney thereby causing harm.

Every ayurvedic treatment for kidney disease begins with determining the cause behind the problem.  This is because Ayurveda focuses on the elimination of the problem by reducing the risk factors rather than on the kidney problem only.

Karma Ayurveda is one such health care unit that offers ayurvedic treatment to its patients. If you want herbal treatment to strengthen your kidney, then approach us!

What is CKD and what are the things you should eat or avoid during CKD

Chronic kidney disease is a health condition in which your #kidney becomes unhealthy as they lose their functionality over a period. The result can be devastating for the patients as it may also lead to end-stage #renal_failure of not treated on time. If your kidney fails you may need dialysis and transplant to sustain your life. This can also be reversed with the help of ayurvedic treatment for kidney failure.

Causes of kidney failure

CKD is not gender or age biased and anyone can be under the risk umbrella of CKD. Certain things that increase your risk for #CKD include:
  • ·         Diabetes
  • ·         Heart disease
  • ·         High blood pressure
  • ·         A family history of kidney disease
  • ·         Obesity
  • ·         Kidney infections
  • ·         Polycystic kidney disease or nephrotic syndrome

       Signs you should not ignore
Having CKD makes you prone to:

  • ·         Itchy and dry skin
  • ·         Muscle cramps at night
  • ·         Too much or too less urine
  • ·         Poor appetite
  • ·         Anemia
  • ·         Swelling
  • ·         Pale or dark colored urine

What you should eat or avoid during CKD
Reduction of the severity of #CKD comes with taking charge of what you should eat or avoid during the problem. Here is a nutritional guide that is a part of ayurvedic treatment for chronic kidney disease, for you:

·         Phosphorus: Phosphorus is essential for the optimum health of your bone. It is present in almost every food you consume. While an apt amount of phosphorus is good for you, an excess can be equally harmful to your #health.

Protein: To a #kidney_patient doctors always suggest a diet that is low in protein because it can adversely burden your kidney. But the reverse is the case when you are on #dialysis as at that time you will need more protein.

Potassium: A kidney-friendly is one that is low in potassium and rich in fiber. Consult your ayurvedic specialist as he will suggest the right amount of nutrients you need based on your disease conditions and other health factors.

Sodium: Excess sodium can increase your #blood_pressure and may harm your kidney’s health. Sodium also makes you feel thirsty and increases the need to consume more water which is not considered good for #kidney patients.

Having a #kidney-friendly diet is as important as your #ayurvedic_treatment_for_chronic_kidney disease. The best ayurvedic specialist at #Karma_Ayurveda suggests you certain modification in your lifestyle and dietary habits so that situation does not become adverse.

Conditions that can cause you Kidney disease

A kidney is said to be diseased when it cannot function properly as it should.  The main job of a healthy kidney is to spill out harmful and toxins substance out of the body through urine. But when they become malfunctioned, they cannot do their job as a result fluid gets build up inside the tissue.

The health of your kidney depends upon so many factors, your lifestyle and diet plan is the foremost.  What you put inside your body affects every supportive system in your body. Hence, the occurrence of chronic kidney disease mostly depends upon you. If you do not take care of your diet, you may end up with severe kidney conditions like end-stage renal failure or #ESRD for which dialysis and transplant are suggested, and you must have heard that these two surgical methods have been proven fatal for the patients. #Ayurveda also suggests #ayurvedic_medicine_for_kidney_failure which can reduce your dependency on the dialysis, make your kidney healthy again, and decrease the risk of death among the patients.

Here are some health conditions which can affect your kidney disease and should be taken care of:
·         Diabetes:  Diabetes is linked to many life-threatening diseases in the body, kidney problem being the one. Nerve damage by raised diabetes can make urine back up and harm your kidneys. Hence, you should be careful about what you are including in your diet.

·         #High_blood_pressure: When the force of blood flow through your body is too high, it can damage the blood vessels of your #kidney. By consuming ayurvedic medicine for kidney problems you can eliminate the risk of #high_blood_pressure in you. Also, by reducing stress, anxiety, daily exercising can also help maintain adequate blood pressure.

·         Consuming too much sodium and potassium: While eating sodium and potassium is good for your #health, too much of them can make it hard for the #kidney to digest what you are eating. Therefore, for a #kidney_patient, it is necessary to watch out what nutrients you are eating and in what quantity.

·         Excess consumption of alcohols: Too much alcohol is not good for your kidney, liver and your heart.  Therefore, avoid them and work on improving your overall health

·         Smoking:  Nicotine you consume with smoking gets accumulated inside your blood or blood vessels which also impact the working of your kidney.

If you are a victim of #kidney_disease and want to improve the health of the kidney start your #treatment with #Karma_Ayurveda and opt for #ayurvedic_medicines_for_kidney_failure and minimize the risk of ESRD.

What is polycystic kidney disease?

Patients suffering from polycystic kidney disease develop fluid called cysts inside or at the boundaries of the kidneys. The cysts are non-cancerous fluids that get deposited in the kidney. PKD is a kind of inherited disease that means it is necessary to have one or both the parents to be diagnosed with PKD in order for you to have it.  Cysts normally grow by 0.5 or larger in size and make your kidney enlarge as they grow. As the day passes, the functionality of your kidney reduces if you keep on ignoring the signs of this kind of CKD.  You should carefully look for:

  • ·          Pain in the abdomen
  •        Urinary tract infections
  •        Kidney stones
  •         Itchy or dry skin
  •        Fatigue body or weakness in the body parts
  •        Red or brownish urine because of the presence of blood
  •        Abnormalities in nails
  •        Joint pain
  •        Pain in the back and side of your body
o
Keeping an eye on some most common signs of PKD can prevent you from the #chronic_stages of #kidney_failure as #PKD contributes to the abrupt failure of your kidney.  Diagnosing PKD does not take much of the toll, and your doctor will conduct a series of test to verify you for #PKD. These tests include Ultrasound, MRI scan, CT scan that will ascertain the volume and growth of the cysts inside the #kidneys.

       Treatment

As of now, there are no particular treatments available to cure PKD, but ayurvedic treatment for polycystic kidney disease can help you manage the risks that get developed with PKD, one such risk is kidney failure that can take the life out of you.  The herbal medications that are used in the treatment are completely organic and unprocessed and work on maintaining your:

  •       Blood pressure level: Maintaining an adequate blood pressure is necessary for the deteriorating eating health of the kidney.
  •        Blood or kidney infections:  For blood in the urine, Ayurveda suggests patients drink plenty of water that can help you dilute the urine. Ayurvedic medicine prevents blood clots from forming in the urinary tract.
  •       Bladder or kidney infection:  Ayurvedic medicines for PKD or chronic kidney disease help to eliminate kidney or bladder infections from your body, which are the main reasons for kidney failure.
  •    Kidney failure: The chances of kidney failure are subsequently removed when you take ayurvedic medicines for kidney failure

The second point starts half an inch away from your earlobe height and stretches out towards your nose. Press on both sides of the line from point 1 to point 2 for about a minute or a two. How to maintain creatinine level naturally

Our body produces tons of chemical waste each second because of our biological system. Creatinine is one such chemical waste produced when we use our muscles. This chemical waste is found in the blood or in the urine and is passed out by our kidneys through urine. As you know, blood needs to be clean for the body to work properly. The presence of more creatinine in the blood makes our blood vessels weak which in turn hampers the functionality of a healthy kidney. High creatinine in the body exposes our body to life-threatening kidney disorders, such as uremia and it also contributes to kidney failure if remain untreated for a prolonged period of time. Therefore, begin with ayurvedic treatment for kidney disease as soon as you diagnose the problem.  Here are some simple home remedies that can help to cure this disorder:
·         Reduce protein intake: Taking too much creatinine temporary spikes up the protein level, even in a healthy person. Red meat is the muscle tissues of the animal, which is already rich in creatinine, therefore should be restricted. Swap meat, dairy products for vegetable proteins such as whole grains, beans etc.

·         Exercise less: Creatinine is a waste produced with muscle metabolism. Hardcore and rigorous exercise should be avoided by the patient. However, you can continue with yoga on an empty stomach because it is good for your kidney.

·         Avoid supplements: Some athletes consume supplements to enhance their muscles, to enhance their performance, that are rich in creatinine. Since creatinine is a substance made naturally in your liver. It should not be consumed in the form of supplements.
